Client Relationship Management Representative | Mountain Plaza Office

Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, Saturday mornings on a rotation basis.

Open and revise checking, savings, time deposits, and safe deposit boxes. Explain and cross sell bank services. Open & maintain IRA accounts. Provide Notary Service. Provide assistance with card service products. Provide assistance with online banking functions. Handle telephone inquiries, prepare letters. Assist other team members. Complete reports as required. Provide general banking assistance to customers. Other duties as assigned. Excellent customer service skills. Verbal and written communication ability. Attention to detail a must. Facilities Assistant | Main Office

Assist the Facilities Manager in the responsibilities of all bank facilities. Assist with all direct facility related matters, janitorial contracts, contacting vendors, physical security, remodeling coordination, bank fleet vehicle maintenance, landscape, snow removal, and general maintenance issues. General walk through each day of the Main Branch, inspecting interior and exterior for maintenance and security needs. Inspecting other branch facilities for maintenance & security needs weekly. Deliver supplies to branch locations weekly or as needed. Contact outside vendors as directed for discussion of needed services or repairs; schedule as necessary. Fleet vehicles – schedule maintenance and repairs.

Perform basic repairs related to painting, plumbing, and carpentry. Other duties as assigned. High school diploma; at least three to six months related experience or training; knowledge or training specific to areas of maintenance, including HVAC, painting, landscape, general electrical, basic plumbing, carpentry, and physical security. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, write routine reports and correspondence. Effective communication skills. Ability to lift and/or move approximately 50-100 lbs. Basic computer skills including Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Mortgage Loan Underwriter | Main Office

Responsible for the review, evaluation, and approval/denial of mortgage files and appraisals based on Hilltop Bank’s policies, secondary market requirements and applicable regulations. Review and evaluate information in a mortgage loan application to ensure the loan is in compliance with agency and investor guidelines, regulations and banks policies and procedures. Determine whether credit, income and source of funds are stable and adequate for repayment and meet all applicable guidelines and requirements by reviewing and evaluating supporting documentation. Review and evaluate Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA/RD appraisals to determine adequacy of collateral and adherence to all agency and/or investor requirements and regulations. Assists in development and maintenance of consistent underwriting practices and procedures including the banks Quality Control program. Works closely with the Real Estate Manager to ensure compliance of regulations including HMDA. Documents loan rejections, specifying investor and institution guidelines and basis for declining applications, such as insufficient cash reserves, adverse credit, unacceptable income-debt ratios, and employment stability. Maintains open communication with the loan processor, loan officer and post-closer. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a college or university; five years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work experience should consist of mortgage lending (FHLMC, FHA, VA, FNMA, conventional, etc.) and financial analyzing background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. FHA-DE and/or VA-LAPP approval and appraisal review designations preferred. Intermediate knowledge of mortgage loan origination, underwriting, documentation and processing as well as relevant regulations. Highly organized and able to prioritize. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Detail oriented with strong data analysis skills. High mathematical aptitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automated underwriting systems. Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs of the position.

Promote and cross-sell other bank products and services as appropriate to client needs, including: loans, cards, online and mobile banking products, trust and payroll services. Welcome clients and escort them to the appropriate person or department for their inquiry. Correspond appropriately and professionally via phone, email or other means. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, bank policies and procedures. Provide Notary Services. Other duties as assigned. Excellent customer service skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Efficient computer keyboarding skills. MS Office Products: Word, Outlook & basic Excel; ability to learn new software. Knowledge of bank products/prior bank experience desired. Ability to deal effectively with all levels of employees and management. Branch Services Representative | Compass Office

Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday mornings on a rotation basis.

Become a product expert and understand each customer’s needs to provide real, effective solutions and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsible for performing the following duties as needed, including, but not limited to: Assist customers with cash and depository transactions and maintain records of all transactions. Open/Close/Maintain checking, savings, time deposit, IRA, and H.S.A. accounts. Assist customers with questions or issues on their deposit accounts, ATM/Debit cards, or general product or service needs. Promotes and cross sells other bank products and services as appropriate to client needs, including loans, cards, online and mobile banking products, trust and payroll services. Maintains current knowledge and consistent compliance with banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position. Other duties as assigned. Experience in one or more areas of branch services – teller, new accounts, client services, consumer loans. Displays knowledge and proficiency in explaining, selling and administering financial products. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. Strong computer skills. Reliable attendance critical for small branch office.

Consumer Loan Processor | Main Office

Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, or as scheduled.

Prepare Consumer loan documentation. Build, organize, and complete loan files. Demonstrate proficiency in areas of perfection of loan agreements and releases in accordance with Bank’s policies and procedures. Provide Notary Services for bank clients. Other duties as assigned. Requirements for this position are excellent customer service and communication skills to work with clients in person and by telephone. Experience with loan processing and knowledgeable in various regulations with focus on Reg. Z, RESPA, HOEPA, and HMDA will be helpful. Assist with reporting requirements. Excellent computer skills including Laser Pro and Microsoft Office. Good organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks. Notary Public.

Lobby Teller | Main Office

Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, Saturday mornings on a rotation basis.

Process personal & commercial checking and savings deposits and withdrawals. Process change orders as required. Cross-selling Bank services. Balance ATM transactions.
